Hello everybody and Happy New Year.
This looks to be a very exciting year for Team Lloyd Irvin’s kids. We had such a great year in 2005 that many of us thought that it would be nearly impossible to duplicate such a feat. Well we not only duplicated but we destroyed it. In 2005 we had the number one youth grappler in the country. In 2006 we have the number 1, 2, 3 , 4 , and 5!!! Not bad right? Well, I tell you what. We have a little secret for you. As we speak there is a whole new group of Master’s Club members who have promised to handle their business in school and in turn we promise to make 2007 their year. That’s right. In 2007 the kid’s program is going to make yet another jump into grappling success. More instructors on the mat, more innovative classes to take the average grappler to elite status and take the elite to the BEST of the BEST.
A small list of the many things to come are:
1. Special Internet “Master’s Club Move of the Month.” As the premier competition program at LIMAA we will be introducing and reviewing dynamic movements for the Master’s Club competitors.
2. The return of Movie Night and other special events. With all of the big events and tournaments going on some of our in-school events had to be sacrificed. Well look for your January – February calender when you come into the academy because the events are back.
3. Implementation of the Team Bus. This means that we will be able to take more kid’s on the road trips to the Long Distance Tournaments. Only the most dedicated students will be selected!
4. Special Team Training for competitors. Our number 1 and world renowned adult team holds team training at least 3x a year and now we will do the same with the kids. Team training is when we invite all competitors from our affiliate academies to do some good hard training and teaching. Students get exposed to different styles of all of our World class instructors across the country.
Well these are just a few of the new things for all of you competitors (and family) to look forward too. If any parents would like to have a competitive goals meeting with the instructor please feel free to reply to your email to me or you can just leave a request on this comment page.

Wow, that sounds like some good stuff guys. I am definitely going to schedule a meeting with Master Donnie when I come in on Wednesday. By the way the new uniform under the Tree was genius. He wore it around all day. Thanks, and see you on Wednesday.
