Below are the names of the students that completed the first phase of the White Belt Competition team tryouts. Congrats, Ladies and Gentleman! They went through a grueling tryout, we started off with 31 students trying out and ended up with 19!

Team Lloyd Irvin fighter Jose Villirisco making his pro mma debut and stepping into the cage for the first time in almost five years lost a UD to a very tough John Dodson. Many people said that this was the fight of the night.
Team Lloyd Irvin fighter Mike Easton brought home the UWC Championship title back to Team Lloyd Irvin by defeating Matt Hughes fighter Justin Robbins by Guillotine Choke at 4:44 of round 3.

Sphere: Related ContentTaking this fight on short notice, Team Lloyd Irvin fighter George Lockhart battled Shonie Carter for 5 hard rounds losing a close split decision.
It seems that the deciding factor was a point deduction that was taken from George for a low blow. This fight was an absolute war.
We at Team Lloyd Irvin are extremely proud of George. Way to go represent.
Now it’s time to get back to training!

Team Lloyd Irvin General Jared Weiner led the troops to Europe for the Championships.
Jared brought home the Silver medal in his weight division.
Cory Robison after winning the Brazilian Nationals, added European Champion to his list of titles, bringing home the gold.
And finally JT “Spiderman” Torres brought home another DOUBLE, winning his weight division and winning the Open Class.
