Team Lloyd Irvin’s 1st Women’s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Team Training Was A Huge Success
Tuesday, September 30th, 2008Special thanks goes to Jen Flannery for organizing this team training. Jen worked hard at getting a date set and boy was it a HUGE success.
Team Lloyd Irvin is working on building a killer female brazilian jiu jitsu team. In 2008 we created our first female brazilian jiu jitsu World Champion in Nyjah Easton, Nyjah also won the 2008 Pan American Championships. Our females have brought home several medals in International competition but never a World Title.
Now we have a new crop of women studying brazilian jiu jitsu that plan to make their mark on the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World!
Here’s a photo of Team Lloyd Irvin’s Brazilian Jiu Jitsu team at Team Training.

There are some killers in that group, and killers in the making. We have a thirteen year old that is already winning women’s blue belt divisions every now and then. She’s only a orange belt and can’t officially get her blue belt for three more years!
